Liam Gallagher hits out at ‘cheeky c**ts’ at BRIT Awards

Liam Gallagher has hit out at the BRIT Awards to being “too scared” to allow him to perform at the ceremony.

The former Oasis turned solo star is nominated for British Male Solo Artist at this year’s BRITs, up against competition from Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, Loyle Carner and Rag N’ Bone Man.
However, Gallagher has now hit out at the BRITs for not allowing him to perform this year, but asking him to present an award instead.

“So the Brit awards have ballooned it again,” said Liam. “All I wanted to do was play LIVE but [they’re] too scared too cosy. The cheeky c**ts asked me if I wanted to host it – are they having a laugh?”.

Hosted by Jack Whitehall and Clara Amfo, the BRIT Awards will take place at the O2 in London on Wednesday February 21.
Performing at the ceremony will be Foo Fighters, Rita Ora, Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Sam Smith, Stormzy, Rag N’ Bone Man and Jorja Smith.

NME has contacted the BRIT Awards for a response.

Liam Gallagher will be performing at the VO5 NME Awards 2018, closing the ceremony at the O2 Academy in Brixton after accepting this year’s Godlike Genius Award.
