Liam Gallagher on his new album, Noel, Oasis, a Christmas Single and more

Liam Gallagher has spoken about Noel’s comments regarding an Oasis reunion, new music, doing a Christmas song, Bonehead and more in a new and exclusive interview with Q Magazine which was done via Email.

Noel previously said that he would rather go busking with 50 pounds left in his pocket. Liam simply has responded, “It’s like the old saying goes, be careful what you wish for.” He also confirmed he has been working on new music and the possibility of releasing a Christmas song. He said, “I’ve been in and out of the studio all year and it’s been sounding really good. I would love to do a Christmas single. I may have to go and speak to my army of songwriters to get one cooked up for next year.” This year is the 25th anniversary of Oasis’s debut album ‘Definitely Maybe’ and Bonehead has played at some of Liam’s shows, Liam posted a picture onstage with Bonehead yesterday. He was asked whether he thinks he could get the original Oasis lineup without having Noel. Liam responded, “Who knows? I love having Bonehead around, he’s a good craic, but as for having him full-time- fuck that, I couldn’t handle it and vice-versa. Been there, done that. I’ve not heard from Guigsy in a long time, I hear he’s still in London.” Tony McCarroll, who was Oasis’s drummer during the Definitely Maybe era confirmed he will be doing interviews this year and talking about his time in Oasis. He took to Twitter saying, “With it being the 25th Anniversary of Definitely Maybe I’ll be attending a few Q and A’s/Spoken Word/Dj’ing/Podcast events all over the uk and Ireland over the next year or so. Any ideas then inbox/let me know?!”
