Speaking with NME, Noel Gallagher talks again about his new High Flying Birds’ forthcoming record.
‘New album is is full of songs that make you punch the air while crying’ is just one of the list of 10 things to know about his album, available today on the new NME magazine of this month.
Noel Gallagher speaks also about why he had to recruit his old friend Johnny Marr for ‘The Ballad Of Mighty I’:
“I don’t have the funk like Marr. I tried to get him on the last record because there’s a bit in ‘AKA…What A Life!’ that I thought needed a bit of funk, and he’s got the funk, but he couldn’t do it, so I had to do it. And I was embarrassed doing it because I haven’t got the funk”
