During an interview with NME, Noel Gallagher has commented Kanye West as headliner in Glastonbury Festival 2015.
He said: “I thought for half an hour it was fucking outrageous. It looked amazing on my iPad, I have to say, for 30 minutes I thought: wow, this is truly fucking amazing”.
The enthusiasm did not last long and he adds: “Then, like most hip-hop gigs, after 45 minutes you’re going, I want something else now. But for half an hour it was as good as it gets”.
Talking about Florence + The Machine at Glastonbury he admitted “She should have been headlining in the first place”.
About the possibility for him of being headliner for Glastonbury 2016 he said “I’m fucking full on, flat out busy, but I’m always free for Glastonbury weekend, if anybody is watching.”
