Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher both may be heading to Glastonbury at the same time next year.
Noel said during an interview at the Mercury Awards, he would “absolutely love to play Glastonbury next year.” He added, “I love the Festival but I’ll probably be fourth on the bill.”
Liam also basically confirmed he’ll be performing at Glastonbury, he headlined Pilton Party which is a fundraiser for the festival and he was photographed with Michael and Emily Eavis who are the organisers of Glastonbury, he shared the photo on social media saying he would see them next year which instantly sparked rumours he was performing and potentially even headlining.
Now Noel Gallagher may also be joining the lineup. An Oasis reunion may initially spring to mind when you hear the news that the brothers are both likely performing at Glastonbury.
However at the Mercury Awards Noel said, “I loved being in Oasis, I’m glad that I left, and I love doing what I do now, so long may it continue. They are just two completely different things and I love them both.”
Therefore it doesn’t sound like reuniting the band is currently on the cards, however he didn’t deny that he could be meeting up with Liam
