Noel Gallagher was one of the guests of ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’ yesterday on ITV1.

He talked about several topics, Oasis reunion, too.

Ross firstly asked him about what he enjoys the most about his work and he answered:

“Just the work itself, really.” adding that he likes touring, performing, recording and interviews as well.

The attention was then shifted on the pure hate of Noel when he has to do videos for his songs.

While during the Oasis era the attention was focused on Liam, now he is the frontman and he really hates everything about it.

He said he feels bad for the video director who always tries to do his best.

“It’s fuckin’ awful.” was his opinion about the video of ‘In The Heat Of The Moment’.

The funny moment of the interview went on talking about the title of the album, ‘Chasing Yesterday’, which Noel defined as “fucking dreadful”.

Ross obviously talked about the reunion of Oasis and he reminded Noel the words he said about it:

“I’ll get back together with Oasis on the day you go work for the BBC again.”

Noel started laughing and Ross went on explaining that he worked for the BBC in the past months and he is going to work with them again.

“Does that mean I have to reform the band?” asked Noel.

So the older Gallagher replied:

I don’t see the appeal. If I close my eyes, I don’t see it happening, that is not to say that it never will. But, I’ve got a lot of things going on.

Jonathan Ross went on asking if he’s speaking with Liam at the moment.

Noel seemed quite embarrassed answering that they do not speak to each other “so there’s no problem”.

He told he quit drugs in 1998 because he was bored and it was illegal, he was tired of talking of “pyramids, aliens, The Beatles and who shot JFK.”

About the relationship with his children and the use of drugs, he thinks that the main problem could be the Internet, which is a window to “all sort of nonsense”.

But as a father, he is going to let his children find their own way in life and pull them back if they get too closer to the edge.

He then talked about his habit of taking the tube, with funny anecdotes about it.

The interview ended with Noel saying that he is going to start his tour in March and it is already sold out, “so I’ll probably get you a ticket off”.
