Oasis will reunite ‘within next two years’ says founder Alan McGee

Their break-up is one of the infamous in history but according to the man who signed Oasis, ‘there is a very strong chance they will get back together within the next two years.’

Alan McGee signed the Wonderwall duo to his independent label Creation Records in 1993, and despite their public breakup in 2009, he is convinced that the pair will reunite by 2019.

He claims it is the brother’s success as solo singer’s that will lead to their reform.
‘Liam is going to be big, Noel is going to be big….That has got to help when it comes to Oasis reforming because they’re not going to come back unless both have equal status,’ he said.

He told the Sun that he loved Liam’s new album, adding: ‘The fact that Liam is going to come back with such a successful album weirdly helps the chances of them reforming.
