All Saints release Liam Gallagher break-up track ‘One Strike’

All Saints have aired their comeback single One Strike, which was reportedly about Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher.

The track, which the girl group recently revealed was inspired by Nicole Appleton’s marriage breakdown with Liam Gallagher, received its debut play on Radio 2 earlier today.
The single officially comes out on Friday (February 26.) ‘Red Flag’, their first album in a decade will follow on April 8.

Speaking about One Strike previously, singer Shaznay Lewis recently revealed that Appleton’s split was “on my mind” when she wrote the song. “The lyrics came from somewhere very real. Nic was going through a lot of things at that time. That was at the forefront of my mind because it was the heaviest thing going on,” she said.

“We spoke for hours and hours on the phone,” Nicole added. “The first few times I heard it in my car I couldn’t stop crying because I could hear so clearly what it was about,” said Appleton.
