Coronavirus: Liam Gallagher insists his wedding won’t be cancelled amid outbreak chaos

Liam Gallagher is adamant his wedding to Debbie Gwyther is going ahead as planned despite the coronavirus outbreak.

The former Oasis star, 47, got engaged to his longtime girlfriend last summer after popping the question during a romantic trip to Italy.

They have since been busy planning the wedding, and Liam has now spoken out to insist the deadly pandemic will not ruin his big day.

When a fan quizzed about whether the coronavirus will have an impact on his wedding, Liam scoffed at the suggestion.

The follower tweeted: “How’s the plans for the wedding? Hope that won’t be affected by it all too.”

Liam replied: “She ain’t getting of that lightly ha ha.”

When another fan asked: “HOW’S the wedding planning going ???” the singer wrote back: “All good.”

It will be Liam’s third trip down the aisle. He was previous married to actress patsy Kensit, 52, and All Saints star Nicole Appleton, 45.

He’s dad to four kids – Molly, 21, with his ex-girlfriend Lisa Moorish, Lennon, 20, with Patsy, Gene, 18, with Nicole, and Gemma, seven, from a fling with US journalist Liza Ghorbani.

His ex-wife Nicole, who he divorced in 2014, hit headlines this week after she confirmed she gave birth to daughter with her boyfriend Stephen Haines.

The singer has been a regular commentator on the coronavirus outbreak over the last few weeks, encouraging his followers to wash their hands.

Liam even joked that instead of singing Happy Birthday while scrubbing his mitts, he sings the “Crazy Frog” song to himself instead.

His more controversial comments have included jokes that Brits can solve their anxiety over the pandemic by taking magic mushrooms.

Liam has been forced to cancel a slew of gigs due to the outbreak, calling off shows in Abu Dhabi and at the Snowbombing festival.

He has been telling fans on Twitter he’s desperate to get out an play, but he’s hoping the virus will have “f***ed off” by the summer so the rest of his shows can go ahead.
