Actors James McClelland and Leo Harvey-Elledge say portraying Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher in Creation Stories is “a gift.”

The biopic tells the story of Alan McGee, the Creation Records boss who managed Oasis.

James McClelland, who plays Noel Gallagher, told the BBC:
“It’s a big challenge because they’re so famous. But at the same time, there’s so much footage of them.”

Leo Harvey-Elledge, who plays Liam Gallagher, added: “It’s easy, easy stuff.”
McClelland replied with a sarcastic smile: “Easy?! OK.”

He continued:
“I don’t find it easy, but I love it. There’s so much to study, so many videos. It’s a gift for an actor.”

‘Creation Stories’ Premiere and Release Date

The film premieres today, February 24, at the Glasgow Film Festival. It will be released on Sky Cinema on March 20.

Ewan Bremner plays Alan McGee in the movie, which adapts his famous autobiography.

The Team Behind ‘Creation Stories’

Irvine Welsh, author of Trainspotting, wrote the script. Nick Moran directed the film.

Last year, on April 16, Alan McGee told NME:
“It’s like ‘Trainspotting does Creation.’ There’s even a scene with two Sony executives in a shocking moment. I think it’ll be quite funny.”
