Ex-smoker Noel Gallagher reveals he’s collected up to 50,000 cigarettes

Former Oasis rocker Noel Gallagher has claimed he has stashed up to 50,000 cigarettes in his house, despite kicking the habit four years ago.

The legendary musician, 52, said he used to ‘stockpile’ cigarettes which were given to him and his band mates for their dressing rooms on riders during gigs – with his chosen brand being Marlboro.

He told the Daily Star: ‘I must have between 20 and 50,000 in my house from various dressing rooms all over the world. I used to stockpile them. I’ve still got them in a cupboard somewhere, for when the kids start smoking.’

Noel’s impressive haul of Marlboro Golds could be worth up to £28,475 so his children, Anais, 19, Donovan, 12, and Sonny, nine, would have their work cut out had their father not been joking .

It was a wild night after an awards bash in 2015 that made the crooner quit, as he revealed: ‘I went to the Q Awards. Stayed out all day and all night…

‘I could never smoke with a hangover anyway but the hangover lasted so long after that and I thought, “I haven’t had a cigarette in two weeks”, and then that’s it.’
