Gem Archer is “looking very likely” to join Oasis line-up for 2025 reunion tour.

Reports say Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs is already on board
Former Oasis guitarist Gem Archer is close to joining the band’s 2025 sold-out reunion tour.
Reports confirm Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs is already on board. Former drummer Alan White also hinted at joining. Now, according to The Mirror, Archer, who recently played with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, is “expected to agree to a deal.”
“No band member is 100% confirmed yet, but Gem and Bonehead are very likely,” a source said. “The key is finding people both brothers respect and get along with. Ideally, they should have been in the band before.”
“Gem ticks all the boxes. He contributed to writing some Oasis songs, so it would be a huge shock if he wasn’t on stage for the UK tour. He knows the songs, the band, and has toured with the Gallaghers, so he understands the commitment.”
Gem Archer joined Oasis in 1999, replacing Arthurs, and played until the band split in 2009. He later performed with Beady Eye before joining Noel Gallagher in 2017.
Meanwhile, original Oasis drummer Tony McCarroll said he is unlikely to join the reunion. He told MailOnline, “I’m happy for Noel and Liam. Really happy for them… They haven’t reached out yet, and honestly, I’m not holding my breath.”
Tickets for the band’s reunion went on sale on Saturday, August 31, and sold out by 7 PM.
Some fans who endured long queues were frustrated by high price increases due to Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing. Ticketmaster clarified that “market-priced” tickets may change at any time based on demand, similar to airline tickets and hotel rooms.
