Liam Gallagher and Adidas Spezial are reuniting to release their second collaborative sneaker, named LG2 SPZL.
Dubbed the LG2 SPZL, the shoe was first announced this past April at Blackburn’s King George’s Hall.
The collaboration brings to life the ex-Oasis frontman’s love for the Three Stripes, as Gallagher is a lifelong Adidas fan and also a close friend of Spezial founder Gary Aspden.
Like the original LG SPZL, the LG2 SPZL combines inspiration from archival squash and indoor models.
The design explores “shades of whites” and contrasting material choices with its chalk white nylon upper sat atop a grey and white midsole.
Additional details include light grey flocked stripes, an asymmetric suede overlay on the toe box with a matching suede overlay on the heel, and an asymmetric rubber toe guard.
The classic Adidas Originals Bluebird pantone make a return on the “Endorsed by Liam Gallagher” portrait graphic on the tongue, while Mod Trefoil logos on opposing heels round out the design.
The shoe comes in custom packaging and is equipped with an “Endorsed by Liam Gallagher” hangtag.
The Liam Gallagher Adidas LG2 SPZL will be available globally on July 14th on adidas.com/spezial, Confirmed, and at select retailers. Check out the photos below.
