Liam Gallagher asked to choose between Oasis reunion and Man City winning Champions League

Legendary Oasis front-man and renowned Man City fan Liam Gallagher has chosen between his band getting back together or his club winning ultimate glory.

City are through to the quarter finals of the Champions League after dismantling German side Schalke in the last-16 and will face fellow Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur in a two-legged affair.

While Spurs do have undeniable quality the draw is still reasonably favourable to City as they’ve won the last three meetings between the two sides by an aggregate score of 8-2.

Should City advance they’ll face either Juventus or Ajax in the semi-final to make it to the final in Madrid on June 1.

The Blues are also into the FA Cup semi-finals after mounting a brilliant comeback against Swansea City on Saturday and remain top of the Premier League by a single point, meaning City are still on course to achieve an unprecedented quadruple.

The greatest trophy of them all, however, has to be the prestigious Champions League, which City have never won.

When Gallagher was asked by a fan on Twitter if he’d prefer City to triumph in Europe or see Oasis, who’ve been separated for a decade, to finally stage a reunion the iconic singer didn’t hesitate in his answer.

“City win CL,” he replied.
