Liam Gallagher is on track to score his fifth solo U.K. No. 1 album with Knebworth 22.
The live album, released via Warner Records, currently leads the U.K. midweek chart.
- Knebworth 22 * was recorded during Liam Gallagher’s two sold-out shows at Knebworth in June 2022.
He performed to 170,000 fans across both nights.
If Knebworth 22 maintains its chart momentum, it will become Liam’s fifth solo No. 1 album.
It would also give Gallagher bragging rights over his brother Noel Gallagher.
Noel has four No. 1 albums with High Flying Birds.
He narrowly missed a fifth earlier this year, losing a tight chart race to Foo Fighters.

This includes all seven Oasis studio albums and the 2010 compilation Time Flies.

As a solo artist, Liam Gallagher has already topped the charts with:
As You Were (2017),
Why Me? Why Not (2019),
MTV Unplugged (2020),
and C’mon You Know (2022).
Currently at No. 2 on the chart update is The Hives with The Death Of Randy Fitzsimmons.
It could become their highest-charting album in the U.K.
In third place is Volcano by electronic duo Jungle, aiming for their fourth U.K. top 10.
Public Image Ltd also look set to achieve their first-ever U.K. top 10 with End of the World, projected at No. 7.
