Liam Gallagher has officially joined rehearsals for the long-awaited Oasis reunion tour.

Liam Gallagher has joined rehearsals for the long-awaited Oasis reunion tour.

The band will perform live for the first time in 16 years. The tour begins this summer with shows in the UK and Ireland. The run includes seven nights at London’s Wembley Stadium, with support from Richard Ashcroft and Cast.

Last month, Noel Gallagher and the rumoured lineup entered a London studio. They rehearsed for six hours. The lineup features Gem Archer, Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs, Mikey Rowe, and Andy Bell. Joe Waronker may also join the band, although he was not photographed.

Fans initially noticed Liam Gallagher was missing from rehearsals. He had been vacationing in the south of France, preparing for the world tour.

Now, he has officially joined the sessions. On Twitter/X (June 3), Liam posted:
“We have LIFT OFF Rastas sounded fucking FILTHY I’ll tell thee that there for hardly anything LG x.”

When a fan asked if it felt emotional, Liam replied:
“No time to get emotional we have a lot of catching up to do.”

Another fan asked if he felt nervous. Liam answered: “Don’t be ridiculous.” He also called the rehearsals “spiritual”. When asked if the band sounded great, he replied: “cmon.”

Reports suggest the Gallagher brothers aim to avoid public appearances together before July 4. The UK tour kicks off that day at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.

In April, the brothers were spotted together at a London working men’s club. The session was reportedly for an upcoming Adidas campaign.

Meanwhile, questions remain about new material. Oasis manager Alec McKinlay recently stated there are no plans for new music or more tour dates.
“This is very much the last time around,” he said.

Liam Gallagher challenged this statement on Twitter/X. He wrote:
“The only people that will be making any kind of decisions on the future of OASIS will be ME n RKID.”

When one fan suggested the manager’s comment might be accurate, Liam replied: “He’s the accountant.” Asked directly if the manager was lying, Liam responded cheekily: “Am I?”

Adding fuel to fan excitement, Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones revealed to NME that Noel has been writing new material.
“I’m assuming he’s doing some writing for either his stuff or if they’re [Oasis] gonna bring out a couple songs, I don’t know,” said Jones.

To celebrate the upcoming tour, Oasis partnered with Amazon. The band launched new merchandise featuring iconic moments from their legendary career.
