Liam Gallagher has admitted he thought coronavirus symptoms were due to his house being “just hot.”
The former Oasis frontman said he initially felt unwell but didn’t think it was COVID-19. He blamed the heat in his home, calling the situation “confusing” and “scary.”
Liam shared the story during a Radio X interview, explaining that he experienced sweating and discomfort but dismissed it as poor ventilation. He later realised it could have been something more serious.
“I thought, ‘It’s just a bit hot in here,’” he said. But once the symptoms continued, he began to worry.
The singer acknowledged how easily the virus could be underestimated, especially early on. He admitted it left him unsure whether it was just paranoia or something real.
He also discussed how the pandemic has changed people’s perspectives on health. “Everything’s scary now,” Liam added, stressing the need to be careful and take every symptom seriously.
Despite the health scare, Gallagher has remained in good spirits. He continued to engage with fans online and pushed for safe behavior during the outbreak.
His honesty helped fans relate, as many had similar experiences during the early days of the pandemic.
The interview showed a more vulnerable side of Liam, far from the usual rock’n’roll bravado.
