Liam Gallagher responds to Robbie Williams’ collaboration offer

Liam Gallagher has replied to Robbie Williams‘ recent comments that he wants them to collaborate together, responding: “I’m sure he does”.

Robbie recently praised Liam, telling  : “I’d do a song with him. My favourite song of the year is his track ‘For What It’s Worth’. I think it’s the best song either Liam or Noel has written in the last 20 years.”

“It’s amazing and timeless; it just hits that sweet spot. It’s universal and speaks straight to the heart. He just got it completely right. I love it.”

“Yeah, I get it, man,” Liam has now replied. “I think what he said was right: it’s universal, it’s classic, it’s instant.”

Williams had previously called Gallagher “fucking amazing” and argued that a duet from the pair would “shock the world”.

When told about Robbie wanting to work with him, Gallagher told NME: “I’m sure he does. It’s not happening, is it?”

“Fair play to him,” Liam added, “he’s got his kids now and all that stuff’s under the bridge. We grow up and do our thing, but I don’t think me and him singing together would be a wise move.”
