Liam Gallagher says reuniting with Noel and singing Oasis songs again feels “spiritual.”

Liam Gallagher says reuniting with Noel and singing Oasis songs again feels “spiritual.”

At the same time, he regrets the “wasted years” after the band’s 2009 split.
In a fan Q&A on X/Twitter, he opened up about his feelings before the reunion tour.

When asked how it felt to perform again with his brother, Liam replied:
“You know what, it’s spiritual. But I can’t help think about all those wasted years.”

Fans are now hopeful the band might stay together after the scheduled tour.
Asked if anything was better than Oasis reuniting, Liam said: “Yeah, staying together.”

The Gallaghers had a famously rocky relationship after Oasis ended.
Liam focused on Beady Eye and his solo career.
Noel built his band, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.

Over the years, reunion rumors came and went without real progress.
In 2020, Liam told NME that he never wanted to be a solo artist.
He missed the band dynamic and said being on his own felt “boring.”

“I’m gutted I’m here doing this on my own,” he said.
He added, “I joined a band for the crack with the lads.”

Liam also predicted the reunion would eventually happen.
“It’s gonna happen very fucking soon,” he said at the time.
He credited Noel’s love for money as a motivator.

Recently, fans speculated about new Oasis music.
Liam teased that a new album was “already finished,” but later said he was joking.
Still, he claimed to be “blown away” by Noel’s new material.

Oasis denied rumors about headlining Knebworth in 2026.

And their manager, Alec McKinlay, downplayed chances of new music.
But Liam fired back, saying:
“Only ME n RKID will decide the future of Oasis.”

The reunion tour kicks off on July 4 in Cardiff, with 19 shows planned.
Seven of them will take place at Wembley Stadium in London.
Support acts include Richard Ashcroft and Cast.

The band lineup features longtime members Bonehead, Gem Archer, and Andy Bell.
Drums will be handled by Joey Waronker, a newcomer to Oasis.
He has previously worked with R.E.M., Beck, and Atoms For Peace.

Rehearsals are in full swing in London ahead of the massive stadium shows.
Fans hope the “spiritual” experience of reuniting leads to a lasting return.
And maybe, just maybe, new music is still a possibility.
