Liam Gallagher slams Noel over Oasis demo release

Liam Gallagher criticizes Noel Gallagher for releasing the Oasis demo “Don’t Stop” without him or Bonehead. Oasis tensions rise again.

Liam Gallagher has fiercely criticized his brother Noel Gallagher for releasing the unreleased Oasis demo “Don’t Stop” without his involvement.

The track, shared by Noel on social media, features his own vocals and none from Liam, sparking backlash. “Well there’s something missing in this god almighty stew,” Liam tweeted, “and it’s your brother… don’t forget your brother.”

He mocked the demo’s value:
“Oi tofu boy, if you’re gonna release old demos, make sure I’m singing and Bonehead’s playing guitar.”
Otherwise, Liam said, “it’s not worth a wank.”

The track “Don’t Stop” dates back to around 2009, near the final Oasis tour. Noel found it while digging through unmarked CDs during lockdown.

“As fate would have it, I found an old demo I thought was lost forever,” Noel Gallagher shared.
He explained that the only known version was a soundcheck in Hong Kong over 15 years ago.
He uploaded it for fans “to enjoy or argue over.”

Meanwhile, Liam Gallagher had recently called for an Oasis reunion, with or without Noel, to support NHS workers.

Liam didn’t hide his boredom about the demo release:
“Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz”, he tweeted.

This latest dispute shows the Gallagher brothers are far from a truce. Fans hoping for an Oasis reunion may have to keep waiting.
