Circa Waves’ Kieran Shudall has hinted that Liam Gallagher debut solo album is finished.
The 29-year-old rocker is ”intrigued” to hear how the former Oasis frontman’s record, which is titled ‘As You Were’, has turned out as one of his close pal’s has worked on it and he said it is ”great”.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, the ‘Fire That Burns’ hitmaker said: ”I’ll be intrigued to hear it. My mate worked on it and he said it is great, so I will be very intrigued to hear what it sounds like yeah. ”
Kieran was ”surprised” that his friend said the outspoken rock star was ”down to earth” and not ”arrogant” at all.
He added: ”He said that Liam was a really lovely gentlemanly person and not at all arrogant in any way, he was really down to earth. That was quite a surprise.”
Liam, 44, recently went to Paris to shoot the cover for the album’s
artwork and teased fans that ”it won’t be long” until the LP comes out.
In a Twitter post to his 1.49 million followers posted on March 20, he said: ”Of to Paris to do album cover it won’t be long yeah yeah yeah LG x (sic)”
And Liam recently dropped by to check on his band’s rehearsals for his forthcoming live shows and said the shows are going to be ”dangerous”.
He said: ”Just popped into rehearsals and the lads are f***ing on it 1 word DANGEROUS LG X (sic)”
And Pete Doherty recently revealed Liam has swiped his bassist Drew McConnell, leaving The Libertines in the lurch so he can join Liam on tour.
Pete said: ”Stressification on the band front, Drew’s playing the bass guitar for Liam Gallagher’s new tour.”
