Liam Gallagher’s Manchester Gig Cancelled Due to Coronavirus
The Heaton Park concert by Liam Gallagher has officially been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The show was scheduled for June 12 in Manchester. It was part of a major UK tour supporting his solo album “Why Me? Why Not.”
Organisers released a statement confirming the cancellation. It was due to the “unprecedented global situation” caused by COVID-19.
Fans Were Promised Full Refunds
Those who bought tickets will get full refunds. The announcement was made via Liam’s official channels and major ticketing platforms.
Fans reacted with disappointment but understood the reasons. Health and safety remain the top priority for both organisers and authorities.
Heaton Park Was Set for a Massive Comeback Show
Heaton Park held sentimental value for Liam Gallagher. He had last played there with Oasis in 2009 before the band split.
The June show was set to be a highlight of the summer music season. It was also meant to celebrate the success of Liam’s second solo album.
No Plans for Rescheduling Yet
There are currently no plans to reschedule the concert. Travel restrictions and safety concerns are still ongoing worldwide.
Other shows on the tour were also affected. Liam later posted messages on social media thanking fans for their support.
He wrote, “Stay safe, stay clean, and see you soon. LG x.”
Fans Hope for Future Dates
While the Heaton Park gig won’t go ahead, fans remain hopeful. They await future announcements about rescheduled dates or alternative shows.
Liam Gallagher continues to stay active online and engaged with fans. He recently teased new music and possible live appearances for 2021.
