Albarn is currently working on the next Gorillaz record.

Asked if he would consider to join Albarn for his future projects, Noel replied “He’s making a new Gorillaz album and he’s got my number, so he’s only got to ask. There is talk of doing something but I’m not sure what it is”.

Noel, now on tour with his High Flying Birds, stated “You can bet your life, the minute I finish this tour he’ll go out on his”.

Albarn and Gallagher have been, musically speaking, historical enemies since the time of the Brit Battle, 1995, when Oasis and Blur were “fighting” to get the crown of best British band. That time seems to be in the past since just last December they performed Gorillaz track Dare together at The Clash bassist Paul Simonon’s 60th birthday gig.

Noel added: “I mean trying to get the two of us in the same room, would be a ******* miracle. But I’m certainly open to the idea for sure.”

But Noel isn’t interested to work only with Albarn. He explained: “I’d love to write a song for Morrissey. That would be fantastic and ******* beautiful. I’d also love to sing a song with Johnny Marr. That’d be great”.
