Noel Gallagher has announced that Tom Meighan will support his 2023 UK arena tour.
Noel Gallagher has confirmed Tom Meighan as the support act for his 2023 UK arena tour.
The former Kasabian frontman will join Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds this December.
Gallagher will tour the UK to promote his new album ‘Council Skies’. The shows will begin at London’s Wembley Arena.
Earlier this August, Meighan performed with Gallagher during a show in Essex.
In 2020, Meighan pleaded guilty to abusing his partner Vikki Ager. The court sentenced him to 200 hours of unpaid work.
After the conviction, he left Kasabian, the band he co-founded in 1997.
At the time, Meighan spoke openly about battling alcohol addiction. He called the experience a “wake-up call.”
Later, he married Ager and received an ADHD diagnosis. He stated he felt “deeply ashamed” of his past actions.
In late 2021, Meighan launched his solo career. He has performed headline shows and festival gigs.
His debut solo album ‘The Reckoning’ arrived in May 2023.
In 2022, Kasabian released ‘The Alchemist’s Euphoria’, their first album without Meighan.
Earlier this year, Sheffield’s Be Reyt Festival addressed their choice to book Meighan as headliner.
Organisers described the booking as a “second chance” and encouraged fans to support his personal growth.

NME praised Gallagher’s recent London show.
They wrote: “Whether Oasis get back together remains to be seen. For now, Gallagher senior still makes a pretty good substitute.”
