Noel Gallagher has recorded a dance track with CamelPhat

Noel Gallagher and CamelPhat teamed up to record a secret dance track “that sounds like when The Beatles went to India.”

Noel Gallagher is working on a secret dance track with CamelPhat, though the song remains unfinished for now.

CamelPhat’s Dave Whelan confirmed this news in an interview with The Daily Star’s ‘Wired’ column [via MusicNews].
They previously collaborated with Noel on their 2020 track “Not Over Yet.”

“We did a great track with Noel that sounds like when The Beatles went to India,” said Whelan.
“It features a sitar recorded with a very talented Israeli musician.”

The track is still incomplete. Noel Gallagher was too busy finishing his High Flying Birds album Council Skies to finalize it.
CamelPhat had hoped to include it on their album Spiritual Milk.

Whelan added:
“Noel’s vocal isn’t complete. He was happy if we got another vocalist to finish the track, and we tried.
We used five different vocalists, but only Noel’s voice sounds right. For now, the track is sitting there.
We’re happy if Noel finishes it for his own music or for us. We’ll respect his decision whatever.”

In other news, Noel Gallagher is open to a Las Vegas residency “later in life.”
He shared this during an appearance on The Matt Morgan Podcast.

“Would I do Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds in Vegas? Possibly in later life,” said Noel.
“You don’t have to go anywhere. You live in the hotel that you play at.”

He added:
“Elvis Presley used to get a lift from his room to the stage. I wouldn’t mind doing that.”

Recently, Noel Gallagher also shared the secret behind Oasis’ signature sound.
He explained that it came from the low quality of the equipment used by him and his bandmates at the time.
