Noel Gallagher says ‘of course an Oasis reunion could happen’ amid Liam rift

Oasis sent shockwaves through the music industry when Noel Gallagher , 52, sensationally quit the Brit Pop band in 2009 following a backstage argument with brother Liam Gallagher, 47, at Rock en Seine, Paris.

A decade later and fans are still hoping the warring brothers may reunite down the line and get the much-loved group back together.

Their long-running feud has seen the pair slate each other online and during interviews, but despite their constant swipes, the HIgh Flying Birds frontman hasn’t ruled out a reconciliation of some sort.

Speaking to the Big Issue magazine about his solo career and songwriting, Noel touched upon an Oasis reunion.

“Well, it could. Of course, it could,” he said.

“But there would have to be an extraordinary set of circumstances. But I don’t think he ever will stop.”

Explaining he doesn’t see eye-to-eye with his sibling ever since he decided to leave the group, he added: “I think I’ve seen him twice in 10 years and both times we nearly ended up in a fight for no reason.

“I can’t envisage the morning I wake up and think I’d like to spend two years on the road, arguing all around the world with Liam.”

Despite his comment discussing his fractured relationship with Liam, Noel admitted the former Oasis frontman is a bigger solo artist than he is.

“He’s selling more records and way more tickets than me so good luck to him, ride it until the wheels come off,” he continued.
