Noel Gallagher is set to be the latest artist to play BBC Radio 2’s In Concert series.
Gallagher will perform at BBC Radio Theatre in London on December 7 as part of an all-day event which will include a live soundcheck during the day broadcast on Ken Bruce’s Radio 2 show aplus an online Q&A with fans hosted by Simon Mayo.
The live gig will be hosted by Jo Whiley and will be streamed on BBC Radio 2, Red Button and the station’s website from 8pm.
Free tickets for the gig are available until November 26 at 10pm. Winners will be drawn at random.
“We’ve persuaded a fantastic range of world class musicians to our In Concert stage over the years and it’s great to have Noel Gallagher join us again with some unique interpretations of his songs,” BBC Radio 2’s head of music Jeff Smith said.
