Anais Gallagher, daughter of Noel Gallagher and Meg Matthews, reportedly played a key role in the Oasis reunion.

Anais Gallagher, daughter of Noel Gallagher and Meg Matthews, reportedly played a key role in the Oasis reunion.

According to a report from The Sun, Anaïs supported her father deeply after his recent divorce. A source stated: “Anaïs was one of the biggest sources of comfort and support for Noel following his divorce.”

Over the years, Noel Gallagher had tried to reconcile with Liam Gallagher, but efforts had stalled. After Noel’s split from Sara MacDonald, Anaïs took action.

The source explained: “Anaïs could tell her dad wanted both his brothers, Liam and Paul, by his side. She was determined to help them reconnect.”

Anaïs also enjoys a good relationship with Liam Gallagher’s sons, Gene and Lennon. She approached them to see if Liam would be open to speaking with Noel. They believed he would be receptive. Encouraged, Anaïs asked Liam to reach out and support his brother.

Oasis famously split in 2009 after a backstage fight in Paris. At the time, Noel refused to perform with Liam and soon left the band. He later stated: “I quit Oasis tonight. I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.”

Now, the band appears ready to move forward. Recently, members of Oasis were seen arriving at rehearsals for the upcoming reunion tour. Notably, Liam Gallagher was absent, reportedly vacationing in the south of France. He is expected to join rehearsals soon.

The Oasis reunion tour kicks off on July 4th at the Principality Stadium. Additional dates include shows in Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin this summer.

Demand for the tour has been intense. Lloyds Banking Group reported that fake ticket scams have already cost fans over £2 million.
