Oasis are reportedly considering offers to make a film of the reunion tour

Oasis are reportedly considering offers to make a film out of the shows in summer 2025 and a documentary about the reunion tour.

Oasis may soon star in a documentary about their highly anticipated reunion ahead of the “Oasis Live ’25” tour.

After the reconciliation of Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher, the band announced a UK and Ireland tour next year. Now, this historic reunion might also hit the screen.

According to an insider who spoke to The Sun, AppleTV+ is reportedly in talks to produce a documentary about the band’s comeback. The project would be similar to “Get Back“, the Beatles documentary that showcased the making of “Let It Be“.

Oasis are reportedly considering offers to make a film out of the shows in summer 2025 and a documentary about the reunion tour.

“This will be the film of the decade. Apple TV+ is offering huge money to secure the rights,” the source revealed.

“They face competition from Amazon Prime and Netflix, but Apple has put all its weight behind this project.”

The documentary is expected to follow the style of “The Beatles: Get Back“, giving fans an exclusive insight into the band.

In 2016, Oasis were the subject of the documentary “Oasis: Supersonic“, which chronicled their rise to fame. NME described it as “rousing, heart-rending, and really fking funny.”**

Ticketing Issues for the Tour

The excitement for Oasis’ return after 16 years led to massive ticket demand, but not without controversy.

Thousands of fans faced long online queues, with some being kicked out, wrongly flagged as bots. Additionally, Ticketmaster‘s “dynamic pricing” feature led to price surges based on demand.

The matter has now reached the Advertising Standards Agency, while the UK government and the European Commission have launched separate investigations.

Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy has called for a review of ticketing policies and secondary ticket marketplaces.

Experts claim that failing to warn fans about “dynamic pricing” before sales may have breached consumer law.

Oasis addressed the controversy, stating:

“The band leaves ticketing and pricing decisions entirely to promoters and management. They had no prior knowledge of dynamic pricing usage.”

Extra Dates for Fans Who Missed Out

However, the new system still divided opinions among fans.

In total, the band will perform 19 shows across Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin. Concerts outside Europe are also in the works.

No Glastonbury, But a New Album on the Way?

Oasis have shut down rumors about playing Glastonbury Festival next year. However, hints from Liam Gallagher suggest that a new album might be on the horizon. they’re focused on the music – but a warts-and-all documentary lifting the lid on their return would go down in history.”
