Oasis in Cardiff: Liam and Noel Gallagher walk out hand in hand

Liam and Noel Gallagher reunite in Cardiff for Oasis’ first show in 16 years. Fans witness history as the brothers hug on stage.

The impossible finally happened. Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher reunited on stage after 16 long years.

As Oasis walked onto the Principality Stadium stage in Cardiff, 74,500 fans exploded with joy. The brothers held hands, silencing years of bitter feuds.

Newspaper headlines about the iconic reunion flashed across huge screens. The crowd roared. The long wait was over.

The band paid tribute to tragic football star Diogo Jota, who died in a car crash in Spain on Thursday. A photograph of Jota wearing his Liverpool No. 20 shirt appeared during Live Forever, drawing huge applause.

Liam swaggered onto stage, saying: “Manchester vibes in the area,” before Oasis launched into Hello, the first track from their legendary album What’s The Story Morning Glory?.

The lyrics “It’s good to be back” had never felt more real.

Next came Acquiesce, the 1995 fan favourite. The words “Because we need each other, we believe in one another” echoed through the stadium.

Few believed this day would come. Since the band split in 2009, a reunion seemed impossible.

The two-hour setlist focused on Oasis’ classic early albums: Definitely Maybe and What’s The Story Morning Glory?.

Despite concerns about his voice, Liam sounded stronger than ever. He joked with the crowd, saying: “You’re still on the glue down here, then,” before Some Might Say and Bring It On Down.

Before Cigarettes & Alcohol, Liam urged fans to hug each other and jump in unison. The stadium floor shook with energy.

Famous faces were spotted among the crowd. Cara Delevingne, Anya Taylor-Joy, Danny Dyer, Louis Tomlinson, and Kasabian’s Serge Pizzorno danced and sang along.

Noel took centre stage for acoustic favourites Talk Tonight, Half The World Away, and Little by Little. His flawless vocals stunned the audience.

Oasis veterans Bonehead, Gem Archer, and Andy Bell delivered the classics perfectly.

After Live Forever, Liam teased the finale. But the brothers returned for a four-song encore, closing with Champagne Supernova.

Finally, Liam raised his hands in thanks. He walked to Noel. The brothers hugged as every fan screamed with joy.

This was more than a concert. It was history in the making. Oasis are truly back.
