Oasis Spotify streams has increased in anticipation of reunion announcement last week.
The Band Confirms Their Comeback
There has been a massive surge in Oasis‘ streams on Spotify as fans anticipated a possible reunion. This morning, the band officially announced their return and a major stadium tour in 2025. The tour will include stops in Manchester, London, Cardiff, Edinburgh, and Dublin.
Excitement reached its peak when Liam Gallagher hinted at an announcement during his Reading Festival 2024 headline set on August 25. Shortly after, the official social media accounts of Oasis and Noel Gallagher shared a teaser, confirming news would arrive at 8 AM on August 27.
Following this, the band announced the OASIS LIVE 25 world tour, featuring 14 stadium dates across Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin in summer 2025. These will be the band’s only European shows for the year. A press release states that plans are underway for additional concerts in other continents.

Spotify revealed that streams of Oasis‘ catalog spiked by 160% globally between August 26-27 compared to the previous week. The streaming platform reported that the increase continued rising after Liam and Noel teased the announcement on social media.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale at 9 AM BST (8 AM IST) on August 31. UK and Irish show tickets will be available through official channels.

Speculation is growing about whether Oasis could headline Glastonbury 2025, scheduled for June 25-29. Currently, rumored headliners include Eminem, Rihanna, Sam Fender, Taylor Swift, and Ed Sheeran.
Possible Tour Support Acts
Rumors suggest Blossoms, Kasabian, and Manic Street Preachers may support Oasis on tour. However, the band has not confirmed the complete lineup. Reports indicate that no other original members will join, and members of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will step in.
‘Definitely Maybe’ 30th Anniversary Edition
The tour announcement coincides with the 30th-anniversary reissue of ‘Definitely Maybe’, set for release on August 30. Liam Gallagher has been performing the album in full during his solo tour, including headlining Reading & Leeds 2024.
During his Reading Festival set, Liam dedicated ‘Half The World Away’ to Noel Gallagher, fueling further speculation. At Leeds, he again performed the track, commenting, “It is a very interesting situation we’ve found ourselves in.”
