Oasis tipped to reform in 2020 despite bitter Liam Gallagher and Noel feud

Good news for Oasis fans – the well-loved Brit Pop band could be reforming for next year’s Glastonbury if the latest odds are anything to go by.

Leading bookmaker Coral make Oasis 2-1 to reform as a band in 2020 and have seen strong support in their betting over the last few days.

This is despite the bitter feud between former bandmates and brothers Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher.

“Oasis fans have waited a long time for the band to get back together but the latest odds should give them encouragement that the Gallagher brothers will put their differences aside next year and perform again together,” said Coral’s John Hill.

Alongside the slash in odds, Noel fuelled speculation surrounding the band’s long-awaited return to the stage during a recent interview with The Sunday Times.

Discussing the Gallagher clan, he said: “Our family has never been close.

“I don’t know one person, one single person, in my life who is living in the perfect family. Not one.”

The Wandering Star singer then mused: “Reconciliation is a good thing.”

Many Oasis fans have longed for a reunion ever since Noel spectacularly quit the band in 2009.

Following years of rowing, the brother became embroiled in a heated backstage argument at Rock en Seine, Paris, leading Noel to turn his back on the Mancunian group.

Despite the decade-long feud, which has seen both siblings hurl insults at each other, the pair may be willing to work past their differences.

Liam has also previously opened up about reforming Oasis on the Jonathon Ross Show in October.

“I don’t think we should have split up, we’d had worse arguments about lesser things. I think the world needs a good band like us [Oasis].”
