Robbie Williams praises Liam Gallagher solo career

Robbie Williams has recently shared his honest opinion about Liam Gallagher musical journey after Oasis.

The “Angels” singer appeared on Chris Thrall’s Bought the T-Shirt podcast and opened up about the Gallagher brothers. He explained why Beady Eye “weren’t very good” but praised Liam’s successful solo career.

During the interview, Robbie Williams noted, “Oasis had a decent career in America, not a massive career.” He clarified that Noel Gallagher is not the major U.S. star many believe he is.

Switching the focus to Liam Gallagher, Robbie said, “Beady Eye’s songs weren’t very good.” He admitted that, despite their history of rivalry, his view was impartial.

However, he was quick to compliment Liam’s solo career. “The record was better. He worked with proper songwriters,” said Robbie. He emphasized how Liam’s collaboration with professional songwriters elevated his work.

Robbie continued, “He writes great lyrics, does great melodies, and he is the voice of a generation.” According to Robbie, Liam Gallagher’s charisma plays a huge part in his solo success.

He added, “People want more of him. He behaves how you’d dream of behaving as a rock star.”

Robbie Williams also mentioned that Liam has always fulfilled fans’ dreams of what a rock star should be. His larger-than-life personality and raw charisma make him one of the most loved figures in British music.

Previously, Robbie Williams even sang Liam Gallagher‘s “For What It’s Worth” during an Instagram livestream, showing genuine admiration.

In conclusion, Robbie believes that Liam’s authentic style, talent, and collaborations have made his solo career truly outstanding.
