The bookies think Oasis are now five times more likely to reform

Bookies have slashed the odds on an Oasis reunion after Liam Gallagher tweeted that he wants the band to reunite after their split in 2009.

“Earth to noel listen up rkid I hear your doing gigs where people can’t drink alcohol now that’s the BeZarist thing you’ve done yet,” Liam wrote.

“I forgive you now let’s get the BIG O back together and stop fucking about the drinks are on me LG x”

Bookies have now put odds at 3/1 – down from 20/1 –that the band releases a single by the end of this year, and 12/1 that they land the Christmas number one.

They’ve also placed odds at 16/1 that Oasis will headline Glastonbury next year. Others have put the odds of a 2018 reunion at 10/1, a 2019 reunion at 5/1 and a 2020 reunion at 3/1.
