A 13-foot Oasis portrait made of bucket hats will debut in Cardiff ahead of the band’s reunion shows at Principality Stadium.
A massive Oasis portrait made entirely of bucket hats will be unveiled in Cardiff this month.
The artwork celebrates the Gallagher brothers ahead of the Oasis 2025 Reunion Tour.
Titled The Wonder Wall, the installation spans 13 feet tall and nearly 20 feet wide.
It will be revealed on Saturday, June 28 at St David’s Cardiff, in the East-side dining quarter.
The artwork will stay on display until Sunday, July 6.
Created by Nathan Wyburn, a Welsh artist known for using unconventional materials,
the portrait features Liam and Noel Gallagher in their 1990s prime.
Thousands of bucket hats were used to craft the black-and-white piece over four days.
Wyburn previously gained attention for a portrait of Ed Sheeran made entirely from old mobile phones.
His latest tribute to Oasis comes just days before the band’s first shows in 16 years.
St David’s Centre Director, Helen Morgan, said:
“We’re proud to host The Wonder Wall in the city where the Oasis tour begins.
Some might say it’s just a load of bucket hats,
but we think it’s definitely, maybe, the best use of them ever.”
The opening concerts of the Oasis Reunion Tour take place at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
The two shows, scheduled for July 4 and July 5, will host up to 80,000 fans each night.
Following Cardiff, the band will perform multi-night residencies in Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin.
Fans worldwide are counting down the days to see the Gallaghers share the stage again.
This one-of-a-kind portrait marks the occasion in a bold and artistic way.
It blends 90s nostalgia with modern creativity to honor the band’s legacy.
And for Oasis fans, it’s the perfect way to kick off a monumental comeback.
