Watch new music video inspired by Swindon police hunt for ‘Noel Gallagher lookalike licking windows’

Rising songwriter and producer Chaney has unveiled a new music video for latest single ‘Let U Know’ – inspired by a recent police hunt for a ‘Noel Gallagher look-alike’ seen ‘licking windows’ in Swindon.

Back in October, Swindon North Police made headlines when they launched an appeal for information after a ‘Noel Gallagher lookalike’ was seen ‘swigging from a bottle of White Lightning and licking windows’.  “We received reports of a man resembling Noel Gallagher in Swindon at around 5.30pm yesterday who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and was licking windows – not a ‘Wonderwall’ and he may have been ‘Half the World Away’,” a police spokesman said. “It’s believed he was with another person causing a general nuisance.

“The incident was nowhere near the Oasis, but in the town centre, near the Wyvern Theatre. If anyone heard or saw anything suspicious in the area, please Don’t Look Back in Anger but contact us on 101.”

Now, Swindon’s own 20-year-old Chaney has created a tribute to one of the year’s most bizarre news stories in his new music video.

“I saw this article, that said ‘Noel Gallagher Lookalike Spotted in Swindon, Drinking White Ace and Licking Windows’,” said Chaney. “So we decided to recreate that.”
