Paying tribute to Liam Gallagher, who was forced to cut his set short to a severe chest infection, frontman Brandon Flowers honoured him as “as one of his kings.”

“We heard you missed out on a couple of songs today that you wanted to hear,” Flowers told the crowd. “Any night that ‘Wonderwall’ is being sung by other people is a good thing.”
The band have a history of covering artists who are either from the local area or were forced to pull out of events – having previously honoured the likes of Interpol and New Orde.
