Liam confesses he’s ‘ready’ for Oasis reunion but Noel has ‘gone soft’

Liam Gallagher has opened up about a possible Oasis reunion, but admitted his estranged brother Noel hasn’t “got it in him anymore”.

Liam has been locked in a long-running bitter feud with Noel after he famously quit the band in 2009.

Oasis were scheduled to play at Rock en Seine in Paris, but an outburst broke out backstage with Noel storming off and splitting up the group.

A decade later the pair are still hurling expletive-laden insults at each other, but despite the arguments Liam revealed he is “ready” to reunite the band.

Taking to Twitter, Liam shared his words of wisdom to his 3.1million followers. He wrote: “Jet lag has not even gone anywhere Bjesus [sic].”

However fans weren’t interested in his long haul flight antics, and instead questioned the star over a possible reconciliation with his brother.

One user asked: “Thoughts on Noel seeming more open to a reunion?”

“Like I’ve said before I’m ready to go. My bags are packed – bring it on. Still don’t think he’s [Noel] got it in him anymore he’s gone soft,” he replied.

While a reunion still looks unlikely as ever, Liam told ITV during the premiere of his documentary As It Were earlier this year he was onboard for Oasis 2.0.

He said: “Being solo, it’s a bit boring isn’t it?

“I much prefer to be in a band with the lads, and obviously i’m a big, bad wolf and he can’t handle it.

Speaking about Noel’s unwillingness to get Oasis back together, he added: “It doesn’t make me sad, it just makes me f***ing mad.”
