Liam Gallagher against Coldplay ’s BRITs nomination



Liam Gallagher shares his disappointment for Coldplay ‘s nomination at the BRITs.

In fact Coldplay were nominated for Best Rock/Alternative Act and Best Group at this week’s BRITs ceremony, but Liam Gallagher shared his disappointment for the nomination.

Speaking to Absolute Radio ahead of the BRITs on tuesday, Gallagher was asked for his prediction for which artist would triumph in the Best Rock/Alternative Act category.

At the mention of Coldplay, Liam said: “leave it out”, adding: “They’re not rock, man.”

“If they’re rock, man… Jesus!” he continued.

“I mean, I like Chris Martin and he wrote some great albums and all that, when I think about it. But that new stuff is like… that ain’t rock, man.”

“I don’t know what [alternative] means, but it’s not rock.”

In 2016 Liam says about Coldplay that “They look like sh*t “, but after his duet with Chris Martin in occasion of the tribute of Manchester Arena victims he revised his opinion saying that “They’re all right man. Chris is cool”.

He also apologize with Chris at One Love Manchester for insulting him over the year.
