Liam Gallagher and John Squire launched website and video for their collaborative album.

Liam Gallagher and John Squire have revealed new details about their collaborative album with a video and an official website.

The former Oasis singer first hinted at the collaboration last June. During his Knebworth concerts, he invited former The Stone Roses guitarist to perform the 1995 classic “Champagne Supernova”. “Super group incoming LG JS,” Gallagher tweeted at the time.

Last September, in an interview with Matt Wilkinson on Apple Music 1, Gallagher confirmed their collaboration. When asked for an update, he responded: “Yeah, serious, man. But we’ve got things to do first. But yeah, we’ll definitely do something together.”

In October, Gallagher posted on X/Twitter that their LP will be “the best record since ‘Revolver'” by The Beatles. A fan called it “a big statement.” Gallagher replied: “What’s coming your way is even bigger. I’m being humble, but it beats it hands down.”

Today (December 18), the “Wall Of Glass” singer shared a video of Squire playing guitar over the years and joining Oasis on stage. In the video’s audio, Gallagher says: “John Squire is without a doubt the best guitarist of his generation and, in my opinion, in the world.”

Gallagher also shared the link to gallaghersquire.com in his Instagram bio. The website features their names and allows fans to sign up for the mailing list to receive updates.

There is still no official release date or announcement for the LP.

Meanwhile, the support acts for the “Definitely Maybe” tour in the UK and Ireland have been confirmed.

The announcement was made by Alan McGee, former Oasis manager, on Instagram. Indie bands Cast and The View will open the shows in June.

Recently, Gallagher added a Belfast show with Kasabian on August 16. He will also bring “Definitely Maybe” to Reading & Leeds in summer 2024, headlining alongside Lana Del Rey, Blink-182, Fred Again.., Gerry Cinnamon, and Catfish & The Bottlemen.

Additionally, Gallagher will perform at TRNSMT Festival in Glasgow. He revealed that his brother and former bandmate, Noel, was invited to join the tour but “refused.”
