Liam Gallagher has hit back at critics who believe he shouldn’t perform Oasis songs during his solo shows.

The former Oasis frontman made it clear that he has no plans to stop celebrating the band’s legacy.

Taking to Twitter, the Manchester rocker declared:

“Anyone who got a problem with me singing Oasis tunes ain’t real Oasis fans. They’re just massive C**Z.”*

Liam Gallagher followed up with a firm statement:

“Oasis till I die.”

Since launching his solo career with As You Were in 2017, Liam Gallagher has blended his solo hits with classic Oasis anthems.

In 2022, he thrilled fans with two massive gigs at Knebworth Park, playing to thousands across both nights.

His recent South American tour also saw him perform in Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico, where fans embraced his mix of old and new songs.

Despite his busy schedule, Liam Gallagher still found time to poke fun at his former Britpop rivals Blur.

When a fan tweeted that she’d secured a ticket for Blur’s London show, Liam joked:

“How much they cost? A grand?”

Blur’s Alex James Would Welcome Liam as a Neighbour

It seems there are no hard feelings on Blur’s side.

Speaking to Radio X, Alex James said he’d be happy to have Liam Gallagher as a neighbour.

“I was delighted to hear that,” said the Parklife bassist when asked about rumours Liam might buy a house nearby.

On the idea of Liam taking up farming, James added:

“Farms are the nearest thing there is to a natural habitat for the rock gentleman. I hope he takes the plunge.”

Reflecting on his own life in the countryside, Alex James joked:

“It’s just a walking, living, breathing cliché I’m afraid. There’s no escape.”
