Liam Gallagher has said he’s “not interested” in a collaboration with former Britpop rival Damon Albarn.

Liam Gallagher Rejects Damon Albarn Collaboration Idea
During a recent interview, the Oasis frontman addressed fan speculation about a potential Damon Albarn collaboration. However, Liam Gallagher was quick to shut it down.
He said that while he has nothing personal against Damon Albarn, the idea of working together doesn’t appeal to him.
“He’s alright,” Gallagher said. “But I’m not into the idea of making music with him.”
The question arose after fans noticed more Britpop crossovers in recent years. Some hoped the feud between the two legends had cooled. But Liam Gallagher made it clear that a Damon Albarn collaboration is not on his radar.
He continued, stating that the two artists have very different styles and energies. “I don’t think we’d click,” he added.
Damon Albarn, known for his work with Blur and Gorillaz, hasn’t responded publicly to Gallagher’s comments yet.
This isn’t the first time Gallagher has dismissed ideas for collaborations. He prefers working with people he feels musically aligned with.
Despite this, fans still hold out hope for surprise partnerships in the future. But for now, the door is closed on a Damon Albarn collaboration.
Liam Gallagher remains focused on his solo work and continues to tour, staying true to the raw Britpop sound he’s known for.
