Liam Gallagher rejects the idea that Oasis had two frontmen

Liam Gallagher has dismissed claims that both he and Noel Gallagher were joint frontmen of Oasis.

The former Oasis singer took to Twitter to express his disagreement with the idea of two frontmen in the Manchester band.

Liam Gallagher Defends His Frontman Status

Liam Gallagher is widely recognized as the voice and face of Oasis, while his brother Noel Gallagher was the band’s chief songwriter.

This week, the “Rock ‘N’ Roll Star” reacted strongly on Twitter, writing:

“How many front men in Oasis? I always thought there was oneโ€”yours truly. Apparently, there were two. Learn something new every day. As you were. LG x”.

The Supersonic singer added:

“The only time there were ever two frontmen in Oasis was when my shadow was lit up by the lights. THE END”.

Fans React to Liam Gallagherโ€™s Comments

Many fans agreed with him, though some pointed out that Noel Gallagher took center stage during the band’s MTV Unplugged gig.

However, Liam Gallagher dismissed the argument, calling his brother a “stand-in.”

When a fan asked why he keeps talking about a reunion, he replied:

“So you can come and see me in action, FANBOY”.

Liam Gallagher Focuses on His Solo Career

The Wall of Glass singer has mentioned an Oasis reunion multiple times, but his solo career remains strong.

Last year, he confirmed his third studio album would be released by 2021. Recently, he teased details about the lead single.

When a fan asked if the first single would be a ballad or a rock song, the Burnage rocker replied:

“Always come back with a banger to wake people up”.
