Liam Gallagher ‘so proud’ of ‘beautiful and clever’ daughter Molly

The former Oasis star got back in touch with the 21-year-old when she was 18. Molly’s mum is Liam’s ex Lisa Moorish, but they hadn’t been in contact for years due to Liam’s strained relationship with Lisa.

When asked on social media if he was ‘proud’ of Molly, the rocker replied: ‘I am so proud of her she’s beautiful clever young woman.’ The student recently opened up about the moment she reconnected with the 47-year-old at a pub. After initially thinking the meeting was ‘weird, she said it wasn’t long before they were getting on like a house on fire.

Molly told Grazia: ‘We went to the pub and got on so well. For the build-up, I was not really thinking about it. Then, for the first five minutes, I was like, “Oh, this is weird”, and then it just was fine.’ She has also met her 18-year-old half-brother Gene, Liam’s son with Nicole Appleton, and Lennon, 20, his son from his marriage actress Patsy Kensit. Molly was previously in touch with Liam’s brother Noel, who he famously doesn’t get on with, but since reconnecting with her dad they are no longer in touch. ‘We don’t “not speak” but we don’t speak, if that makes sense. [It] wasn’t my decision,’ she explained.

There is definitely no love lost between the Gallaghers, with Noel only recently shading his brother’s music when he was forced to deny Liam’s claims he had turned down £100 million for an Oasis reunion tour. Without naming Liam directly, he tweeted: ‘Nothing to see here dudes and dollies. ‘Silence is still golden..and just in case you weren’t already aware someone still has a new single out. ‘I believe it’s called “Once” which is the exact amount of times it should be played.’ Noel added: ‘It’s still available in all good record shops but mostly in s**t ones. Happy Sunday.’
