Liam Gallagher has revealed he is battling arthritis in his hips and undergoing acupuncture treatment in a bid to relieve the pain.
The 46-year-old former Oasis frontman has revealed doctors have warned him to cut down on jogging and he is seeking alternative therapy to help ease the pain in his legs.
Gallagher told Q Magazine: โThis geezer is mega, he doesnโt f*** about. He gets the needles and whacks them in.”
โHe sorts it but it keeps coming back. Acupuncture is alright, at least itโs needles.”
“I can convince myself itโs still a bit rock โnโ roll.โ
The Come Back To Me singer also opened up about being reunited with his daughter Molly, 21, whose mother is singer Lisa Moorish.
Gallagher – father to sons Lennon, 19, and Gene, 17, from his marriages to Patsy Kensit and Nicole Appleton – explained his girlfriend Debbie Gwyther encouraged him to make contact with Molly and they met for the first time last year.
He said: โObviously, it shouldโve happened years ago… but, itโs great. Weโve been hanging out loads.”
โMolly fitted in straightaway. The lads love her, Debbie loves her.”
“I mean, sheโs moody. Sheโs got a temper just like me. But itโs all good.โ
Gallagher is also father to six-year-old daughter Gemma from his brief affair with New York Times journalist Liza Ghorbani in 2012.
The Wonderwall singer also spoke about the time he was โvisitedโ by the ghost of Beatles star John Lennon.
He revealed: โYears ago I thought I saw the ghost of John Lennon in Liverpool, in a hotel. I was passed out in my bed, off my box, woke up and โ in my head โ I saw John Lennon at the window, wearing a denim jacket, long hair, round bins and no beard. He was at the window, waving.”
โTo be fair, it couldnโt have been a ghost because ghosts are in black and white. Lennon was colour. They can be colour? We need to look into that. But he would be, wouldnโt he, he was Psychedelic John. He looked very well. He didnโt look dead.โ
