Liam Gallagher has teased big plans for the Definitely Maybe 30th anniversary tour. He revealed it will reach fans “all over the world.”
The iconic Oasis album was released on 24th August 1994. Next year marks its 30th anniversary. Fans can expect more than just a re-release.
Asked on Twitter if the tour would come to Italy, Liam replied: “Planning on celebrating that album all over the world.”
Earlier this year, Liam Gallagher first revealed his tour plans. He tweeted:
“As it’s 30 years since DM was released nxt year, I’m gonna be playing the album from start to finish in its original order at a few BIBLICAL venues. LG x”
The album includes Rock ‘n’ Roll Star, Live Forever, Supersonic, Cigarettes & Alcohol, and Slide Away. Liam will perform it in full for the first time.
Meanwhile, Liam Gallagher continues to play solo gigs. Last summer, he headlined two massive Knebworth shows. Over 170,000 fans attended across the Jubilee weekend.
To celebrate, he is releasing the Knebworth 22 live album. The album includes a live version of Roll It Over, originally from Standing on the Shoulder of Giants.
Knebworth 22 will be released digitally and in various physical formats:
- Standard and deluxe CDs
- Black double-vinyl
- Sun yellow double-vinyl
- Olive and black marble double-vinyl (exclusive to Liam Gallagher’s official store)
Fans can pre-order Knebworth 22 now. To mark the launch, Liam will play a special show at KOKO London next month.
