Liam Gallagher says he wants to take year off to find himself

Liam Gallagher has revealed he plans to take a year of to “find himself” before releasing his next album.

Liam Gallagher has revealed he plans to take most of 2023 off to “find himself” before releasing his next album.

The former Oasis frontman had a huge year in 2022, with his third solo album “C’MON YOU KNOW” and two massive gigs at Knebworth Park.

But when asked by a fan on Twitter if his fourth studio album is coming this year, Liam Gallagher replied:

“We’ll start sewing the seeds this year but it’ll be nxt year. I’m taking most of the year off to find myself. I’ve been bought a pair of sandals.”

Oasis Reunion Rumours Continue

Despite plans for a break, Liam Gallagher keeps fans excited about a possible Oasis reunion.

At the start of 2023, a fan asked on Twitter:

“Rasta, is it true that Oasis returns this year?”

The Manchester rocker simply replied with a raised hands emoji, fueling speculation.

Liam also sent a New Year message to his fans, saying:

“HNY to all. Have a biblical year. Stay cool and remember it ain’t what you do, it’s the way that you do it. Love you longtime. LG.”

Noel Gallagher Still Against Reunion

While Liam Gallagher seems open to the idea, his brother Noel Gallagher remains firmly against an Oasis reunion.

Speaking on the Pub Talk podcast, Noel Gallagher compared a reunion to going on holiday with an ex.

“Would you go on holiday with your ex-missus?” he joked.

Noel, who released “Council Skies” with High Flying Birds, also pointed out the band’s ongoing success.

“Oasis sell as many records now as we did when we were together. We’re as popular now as we ever were. I’m happy with that.”

The “Ballad of the Mighty I” singer added:

“If we got back together, it would be a circus. There’s no point. Leave it as it is. I’m happy. He’s doing his thing. He’s still f**ing selling out Knebworth. Good luck to you.”*

For now, Liam Gallagher is set to enjoy his time off, with new music expected in 2024.
