Noel Gallagher to perform at The Best Fifa Football Awards

With London set to host The Best FIFA Football Awards™ once more this year, it is only fitting that the Royal Festival Hall is lit up by the best of British.

Noel Gallagher will perform at the ceremony on Monday 24 September, entertaining the biggest stars from around the world of football in attendance, and millions of fans watching around the world.

Gallagher is no stranger to the beautiful game. A born-and-bred Manchester City fan, he has struck up friendships with greats of the game the world over, becoming Alessandro Del Piero’s ‘lucky mascot’ at the 2006 FIFA World Cup™, with the Italian star saying “the World Cup victory will always be tied to Noel.”

The frontman for Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds shot to superstardom as the chief songwriter for Oasis, who sold millions of albums to become one of the most successful British bands of all time. One of the group’s most fabled gigs, at the height of the frenzy around the band, came across two dates in 1996 at Maine Road – the former home of Noel’s beloved Manchester City.
