Noel Gallagher has said he’d rather dress in Jimmy Savile shellsuits than wear his brother Liam ’s clobber.
Interviewed for the Matt Morgan’s Podcast, Noel Gallagher was asked to choose whether he’d rather wear a Jimmy Savile shell suit or a Liam Pretty Green Parka every day for the rest of his life.
“Jimmy Savile shell suit – and I’d have f***ing Jimmy Savile written on the back.”
“I’d have ‘Savile Row’ written on the back.”
Noel also revealed he had his own problems with clothes last week, when they went missing on a US trip.
“I’ve had a f***ing nightmare, to be honest I’ve had a nightmare since I’ve got here.”
“I arrived here in LA and my bags went to New York. And it was a direct flight.”
“All I’d got was the clothes I was stood in.”
“The the flight they were going to be put on to bring them to LA, that got cancelled. And then the one after got cancelled.”
But he refused to go and buy new outfits, despite wearing a jumper he left the UK in and arriving to sweltering heat.
“I’m like, ‘What? F***ing prance around like an American idiot in a Hawaiian shirt, are you f***ing mental?’
“I was in a bad mood.”
