Liam Partners with Mental Health Charity Talk Club

Liam Gallagher announced a partnership with Talk Club, a mental health organization supporting men worldwide.

“We all know someone affected by suicide,” Liam said. “It’s important to talk. I’m really pleased to help with this song.”

Talk Club co-founders Ben Akers and Gavin Thorpe added:

“Suicide is the biggest killer of men under 50. Collaborating with Liam will raise awareness and save lives.”

From October 1st, all UK profits from the track will be donated to Talk Club for six months. Liam will also host a Twitter Q&A about mental health on Thursday, October 13, from 11 am to 12 pm.

The Video: A Visual Metaphor for Depression

Directed by Ryan Vernava and Liam Achaibou, the video features David Jonsson (BBC’s Industry). He walks the streets of Manchester, visibly weighed down by a life-sized version of himself.

Strangers ignore him—until others begin to join, offering support. Gradually, the weight becomes manageable. Jonsson’s character walks into a Talk Club meeting, welcomed and no longer alone.

The video’s concept was inspired by the directors’ personal loss of a close friend, deepening its message.
